Because how many chances should one get to win a championship??
Their CCG is a defacto playoff game.
If this was an issue why even play the SEC CCG? LSU losing will still get in (deservedly so). But if you want to guarantee both Georgia and LSU then why even play the SEC championship game? Just save the energy for the playoffs.
