Now I know there are far more reasons to never, ever, ever have Crowton coach at BYU again, but I do long for the days when the head coach was a very active participant in the program.
It's clear Kalani has a hands off approach and is not in complete control of his own program. Crowton was the exact opposite (and that was part of his down fall). But at least he was constantly trying to solve the issues, try something new, and out think the opponent.
Now we have a coach that hopes a player gets into the game. You know who could make sure that happens? The head coach! Or maybe at least he should have a quick chat with his highly paid assistant and discuss the matter so he knows one way or another what is happening.
I'm not sure if I should laugh hysterically or roll my eyes back into my head when thinking about KS's approach to coaching this program.
