I suppose if the stars had aligned perfectly and BYU somehow ran the table
Taysom could have been invited, but the likelihood is super low. So my answer is still "No" he would not have been. BYU would have blown a couple games and Taysom would have had a couple bad passing games as he always did. Getting a non-P5 player into the Heisman room is almost impossible.
