Must haves: No exposed heating coil. Silverware drawer up top.
Exposed heating coils mean you can't put plastic stuff on the bottom rack.
The silverware drawer thing up top is amazing. Sort the utensils on the way in (easy), and grab them all by the handful on the way out (also easy) - and they don't take up any space on the bottom rack.
But yes - get a Bosch. They are the best by far.
