That's a pretty hypocritical response considering you accused me of this: "Your identity is so wrapped up in this idea of BYU greatness and that BYU is equal to or superior to Utah that you can't be objective and make a reasonable assessment about the state of these two programs. It's sad to see so many grown men behave so unreasonably."

Sounds like you're the one who believes BYU is great enough to qualify Utah to be a top 10 team. BYU is not great or even good, and beating them, even 9x in a row, does not qualify a team like Utah to be a top 10 team in the country. Look at who Utah beat.
- They beat 7-5 BYU by 18, but needed 2 pick-6's to do it.
- They beat 5-7 NIU by only 18.
- They beat Idaho State by only 31.
- They lost to #22 USC on their 3rd string QB.
- They beat 6-6 Washington State, who went 3-6 in the PAC12.
- They beat 5-7 Oregon State, who went 4-5 in the PAC12.
- They beat 7-5 Arizona State, who went 4-5 in the PAC12, by only 18.
- They beat 7-5 Cal, who went 4-5 in the PAC12.
- They needed a comeback win against 7-5 Washington, who went 4-5 in the PAC12, and only won by 5.
- They beat 4-8 UCLA, who went 4-5 in the PAC12.
- They beat 4-8 Arizona, who went 2-7 in the PAC12.
- They beat 5-7 Colorado, who went 3-6 in the PAC12.
- They got blown out by 11-2 Oregon, who went 8-1 in the PAC12.
Utah only played ONE team who won more than 7 games all season, and lost in convincing fashion. That is not the resume of a top 10 team, and it has absolutely nothing to do with BYU.
