There is a difference in the two concepts. Helicopter parents hover around
their kids to make sure they are constantly safe.
Bull-dozer parenting is clearing the path so that the kids never face anything difficult.
Usually the same parent will do both.
I like the saying “Prepare the child for the road, not the road for the child.”
