At least he was playing in that game. If you watched it he could have been leading at the half.

The commentators made an interesting point at the beginning. One of them said he had talked to Bronco and asked whether Bronco thought the stage would be too much for his players. Bronco's response was: "The stage isn't, but Clemson may be." Another thing they said: Bronco told them when he left BYU he wanted to go to a team that was doing poorly but cared about something else more than football.

VA's football program was A-B-Y-S-M-A-L before Bronco showed up. I know people on the medical staff there and they tell me the culture was also horrible. They are not LDS. But they love Bronco for the way he showed up, cleaned house, and established a commendable culture.

Virginia might not compete for National Championships in the next five years, but guess what? They will compete and they will do it with a clean program. Some people appreciate that.
