Speed isn’t the biggest indicator of success for TEs in the NFL
It helps, sure, but good receiving TEs are (usually) big bodies with reliable hands that you can throw to in the middle of the field and contact doesn’t destroy them. If they’re decent at blocking, too, then they’re in high demand. A 3rd round grade indicates he fits the bill, but isn’t necessarily a future Pro Bowler
