The main reason why it worked is because a true freshman was dumb enough to
Throw over the middle and throw some picks..... If USC freshman continues to throw to the sidelines then USC wins.
Fast forward to UW and that is exactly what Eason did. The only throws across the middle were drag routes in front of the LBers.
The drop 8 tactic is not going to work. It did against SC. Move onto a different gameplan for a specific opponent.
