When she's feeling nostalgic for family or childhood, she puts a slice of cheese on top of a slice of bologna on a piece of bread and sticks it in the broiler.

The edges of the bologna rise up, almost forming a bowl, and the cheese melts and sits in the bowl. She used to have it all the time as a kid, apparently, and it still brings fond memories for her now.
