and even then I knew we were riding a pretty thin rail. Im an end of the season type of fan, meaning I gauge our success by end of the season results. I enjoy the ride far more when I see something worth a dang as a prize. BYU football has had one 4 game streak where they had a chance at anything worth getting excited about in the past 11 seasons, and that was 2014 before Taysom fell to USU. It has been more depressing and frustrating than fun. More lows than highs, no doubt.

Rose had some fun teams this decade, Jimmer obviously, and a few others that made the post season fun. But the last 3-4 seasons of Rose weren't very enjoyable.

Pope has a new energy around this team. The wins over Houston, V-Tech, UCLA and the last two MWC wins have been fun. This team looks and feels like a march tourney team. I'll be in Vegas for the WCC showdown again this year. After last years 1st round loss I wasn't sure if I would be able to talk myself into it, but this team is fun to watch and I am loving what Pope is getting out of his team thus far.
