The problem with electronics stems from a Samsung sports watch I purchased from Amazon. The sales page said that the watch was a US model with a three-year guarantee, etc. Six months later the watch died, so I sent it to Samsung only to discover that it was a foreign model and would have to be shipped to Italy to be repaired. I contacted Amazon which said it couldn't be responsible for the quality of the items sold. I complained about the false advertising of a US model. Eventually, my complaint was handled to a mutually-satisfying way, but I've decided to order electronics from a more reputable dealer.
