Rose put a lot of stock on inbounds plays
They practiced them a ton. He spent a lot of time running transition offense and inbounds. In some ways I agreed with his philosophy. He wanted to score when the defense was out of position. In bounds plays are hard for the defense because your back is either to the ball or your man.

His philosophy is that in bounds plays were an area most coaches neglect, but Byu scored 5-6 baskets a game from inbounds.

Half court sets? Not so much. It hurt him during conference/tournament play when teams took away the transition game.
