The big box stores like Home Depot, Lowe’s, Best Buy, etc don’t have a sales staff that knows what is going on in the industry. Because of that consumers leaving from those stores don’t really get the education for proper use on the new machines.

If you purchase from an independent dealer (think mom and pop store type store) they should be better trained. Their sales staff should be able to help consumers know what measures need to be taken to prevent issues of mold and mildew. Again one of the biggest issues is overuse of soap.
