It's like in the book The Blind Side, where the father said the Mormons were all going to h---, but were sure nice people. It's also like how my professor in graduate school told me how much he admired me for being so responsible as a father, husband, student and then immediately bullied another student who was considering marriage. It's also like how they write newspaper articles about how terrible the BYU Honor Code is, and yet BYU remains the #1 safest campus in the country. It's just bizarre. They recognize there is something different about Mormon-centric communities, but don't want to admit it might actually be the religion.
