...in the first half he didn't score much at all and didn't get open looks on the perimeter. In the 2nd half he did a nice job of grinding to get shots closer in but we didn't make it easy for him, he had to make some really tough shots. In a way he reminded me a little of Tyler Haws in how Ty used to work so hard in the half court to work off of screens etc to get a shot.
I really think the key for us is on offense, guys need to keep moving without the ball and not stand around on the 3pt line. If they extend their D to try and contest passes to shooters we need to read this and cut backdoor to make them pay for being aggressive.
Also, guys like Yoeli and Jake need to get a little more active and quicker with their reads and reactions to what the defense is doing. In the Nevada game they were pretty active in doubling the post whenever Yoeli touched the ball. Yo needs to be quicker at recognizing it and then get the ball to the open man on the permieter. Jake also has a problem at times where he doesn't want to cut and fill after passing along the perimeter and just wants to camp out on the 3pt line. The offense flows better when all 5 guys move within the flow of it.
