Football is important, even most important, it isn't everything.
Clearly Tom takes pride in the success of the other, non-revenue sports. And clearly the foci of the BOT is different than a lot of other leadership at other schools.

Tom is well wired in and HE does care. Fans really do not know or understand the dynamics of being an AD /administrator
