Just saw this article saying the Caps GM promised to do his best for Chandler

to land on a team with a good situation for him (once it became clear he would be a salary cap casualty). No doubt VGK is a great destination in general and specifically this year for Chandler.

I wish the salary cap were higher so he could still be on the Caps!
