In the 'mediocre' Bronco years when the offense was struggling, similar to how it has been under KS, the defense would step up and keep us in games. Sometimes the D would singlehandedly win games for us. This year it seems all the close games have been won by the offense.
For many, Tuiaki's lack of defensive pressure, i.e. strategy isn't an exception in his coaching approach, it is is the rule. I think you could possibly argue this point, but you cannot argue that Tuiaki's D is any sort of strong point or foundation for this team.
