You know Cats has actually been out in the theaters, right?
You know that virtually everybody who has seen it has said how shockingly, monumentally bad it is, right? You know that it was so bad that Universal did an emergency recut of it that they pushed out to the theaters in hopes of salvaging it, right?

So, no, I haven't seen it. I know the source material, and thought that was really stupid. I watched the trailer and thought it looked horrible and weird. Everybody who has seen it, from critics to regular viewers has agreed.

In contrast, the Doctor Doolittle trailer doesn't look horrible, as you suggest. I liked the source material, and I even somewhat liked the Rex Harrison version. This one doesn't immediately say "wow" to me, but more of a "huh, I don't know". Because I can't really tell from the trailer, like you seem to believe you can.

Interestingly enough, though you think the DD trailer tells you everything you need to know without ANY actual reviews of the movie, your post just above sure seemed to imply I couldn't have made a similar conclusion about Cats just from the trailer. Seems pretty inconsistent on on your part.
