Borg All-American
My silver lining (as well as your points)
All that you said, plus this:

He couldn't have ended this season any better. He had a phenomenal game, MVP for the Saints in the playoff game, no doubt for the playoff game, and increased his value going into the contract year etc with the Saints and any other potential team that could use his talents in a starting QB role.

Having said that....THill, just comes through, no matter what circumstance you put the dude in. It's crazy. He just makes lemonade no matter what he's called on to do.

(Glass half empty perspective here...) But, because he just succeeds, does well, succeeds etc...the fan hype and support are off the charts. Not only on CB, but the Saint fans as well. They are going nuts about THill, and many want him to start now.

At some point, Taysom is going to fumble, throw an interception...basically, be human and make a mistake and the fans will turn on him. I'm glad that didn't happen and he ended this season on such a high note (fans can/will turn so quickly on athletes, and I didn't want to see Taysom make any mistakes to cost a game etc). I think in doing so, in his next opportunity, he will be given a longer leash to make some mistakes and/or have a larger learning curve.
