I seem to recall hearing that the large donor group, something Circle..., stepped up big to help support paying Kalani and staff. Or at least to bring them to somewhat of a "market" level in term of salary.

Where would this money come when looking at the Financial Statement for the athletic department? Is it completely outside of the AD, therefore that $4M would really be closer to $7-8M? Is it funneled through a different organization?

I may be completely wrong, but I think there are enough folks here that have better info then what I seem to remember reading on CB years ago.
