They make bland, corporate-driven franchises and remakes.

Franchise actors could make more good stuff but they don't really — not most, anyway. Like you said, Driver has made some good stuff. Hemsworth has made a couple interesting choices, but not on the scale he would if he weren't in a Thor movie every year.

I find it interesting that people absolutely hate on Stewart and Pattinson basically just for being in Twilight, a big dumb franchise, but they've made better and more interesting movies, and proven themselves more, than almost any of the Marvel stars that people adore.
