It would appear the WCC has taken Gonzaga’s pressure to heart and gotten better. At 13-5, 5 teams in the conference have as many or more wins than BYU. That has never been the case before.

BYU can’t stumble if they hope for a NCAA tournament draw, but this year some of those losses wouldn’t be to dregs. It would be to some vastly improved, very good basketball teams (if it’s to USF, Santa Clara, Pacific).
