break his fall that where his elbow hit was ahead of the ball? Huh? He was moving laterally toward the left sideline, and he was holding the ball with his right arm. In that instance, the only way the ball COULD be further down the field than his elbow, is if he was stretching the ball out, which he wasn't. He stuck his elbow out ahead of him and to his right, with the ball tucked against his body, or, for the gpsonally challenged, closer to the Seahawks endzone than the tip of his elbow.
