The controversy I’ve heard is related to autoimmune disease
It’s been a while so I don’t remember all the particulars, but basically there are an above average number of people who have adverse reactions to it, resulting in dehabilitating illness

I'm not so sure about that. There is controversy over HPV vaccine specifically. I'm sure it has been debated
