I find most people who don’t travel or do things today with their spouses already think they will later when they retire. Most don’t, their health falls off before retirement or they come up with some other excuse why they can’t afford to travel. Take the money and travel with your wife and family. Those memories will be doubled as the extra $5m will increase how many more trips you can take both from a financial standing and allow more time away from work to play with your spouse and family more.
