That is if you're working a desk job. All that is just single vision lenses where you just back off -1.00 to -1.50 off the far vision prescription. You can pick up a cheap pair off Zenni for less than $20. It saves you having to tilt your head constantly during the day to be able to read because you've got a full lens to look through rather than the tiny bifocal lens. You'll get used to the progressive lens though.
