Agreed. Some very limited thinking doesn't understand risk/reward and
capital formation.
Go tell someone who has a sure 8-5 job that pays well is secure and pays $100,000.
Tell the same guy he can quit and take a sales job that pays nothing, but he could make $150,000 if he is good enough at it.
Somehow some people think the guy who works 8-5 is getting screwed income wise and taxing makes it fairer.

Carried interest is different from ordinary income in that in order to earn CI you have to put up capital. You
