Exactly what I told some friends when they took issue with the idea of a Chinese male
playing the role of Cinderella.
I guess people just get too wound up about movie roles. Why should gender, age, race play a role in telling a story? Such irrelevant details.
When they do another remake of Shaft, I really hope they do it right by having a 7 yr old Norwegian girl play the part of Shaft.
