I just received a couple of DVD's from Australia - the guy contacted me before shipping to make sure I knew they were Region 4 Australian DVD's before he shipped them. I've bought a lot of small items and parts from China and never had a problem (other than remembering not to expect quick delivery).

Look at the feedback, especially on international sellers - if a seller has more than a couple of negative feedbacks or only has a couple of sales - it's probably a good idea to avoid that seller.
