In 2018, UConn's athletic dept lost $40M. Last year, the deficit was $42M.
Projections are that the current year will result in a similar deficit.
The football program lost $13M. Perhaps it's time for them to consider sitting it down or returning to FCS, from it emerged two decades ago.
