To me, the ultimate luxury in modernity is being able to live in a high trust area. Something our ancestors took for granted. Neighbors not just coexisting, but looking after one another.

People can mock “Mormon culture” all they want but I think we’ve done as good of a job as any at protecting this. But alas, there are people who would steal a snowblower just about everywhere.
