The trick is getting them when the vegetable oil...
the fries are cooked in is fresh. When the oil is clear and not dark brown. Maybe you can bribe a worker at your McDonald's to let you know when they change the vegetable oil.
Yeah, I know they used to taste better when beef fat was used in the cooking oil. McDonald's went away from that for health reasons.
