Any older farts here that have learned to play an instrument after, say, 30 yrs old?
I’ve been teaching myself guitar for a while now and it’s a grind. I wish I would have done it when I was a kid.
If you e done so successfully, did you set a practice schedule you stuck with religiously? Or what was your method?

No, by my age, it is impossible to learn. once you hit 30, if you didn't know how to play it, you never will

I started learning guitar when I was 45. I was able to do it, but it took a determined effort.

No. I play some guitar - i'm intermediate. I want to get solid though. Gotta put in some serious time.

By the way, a good instructor can help with the motivation to put in that time.

38 and learning both the guitar and the piano. It's definitely a grind.
