I'm reminded of a movie scene. For those of you who haven't seen the movie Eddie, well done. I praise you for your good sense or dumb luck. In that movie, however, there was a scene that always stuck with me. A gargantuan Russian gentleman was on the basketball team who was rather uncoachable, presumably because of a lack of grasp of the English language. He only knew how to say, "Ivan make basket." After the gag that was the coaching futility had played out, during warmups for a game, none other than Vlade Divac came over to say hello to Ivan, and, in Russian, engaged Ivan in some small talk. Ivan's response, in Russian:
