I had aspiriations of owning a business once. Then I
1) Gained a family
and
2) Realized all that it would entail.
Now I thoroughly enjoy my steady, well paying job. I have sufficient income with the time and flexibility to coach all of my kids sports teams and to just be there for them in general.
I may re-evaluate after I retire, but that would just be for fun and to keep active, rather than as a needed source of income.
