That was weird when Blaine said that. As he obviously could not have ...
... started for Alabama. As a senior, Davis was beat out by a freshman at BYU. The real head scratcher was that he went on to be a starting CB in the NFL. So in a way Blaine is vindicated in that Davis was/is and NFL talent. But Davis did not show it at BYU, which was why Fowler's claim seemed so outlandish.
