Beyond scheduling games.

The business acumen across BYU and the Church is impressive and regularly on display. If any high level decision maker signs off on joining a conference with USU, then my testimony will be shattered.

They CANNOT fill a 25,000 seat stadium. They share the same, mid-level market as us.

USU is an absolute non-starter in ANY hypothetical discussion, let alone any real plan or proposal.

(Ok, apostatizing and losing my testimony are 100% TIC, but I am trying to emphasize just how mind boggling any mention of USU is.)
