I often find myself being too passive about life and expecting good things will continue to come just as they always have.

When I realize I’m in that rut I’ll often reflect on Kobe’s work ethic and “mamba mentality” and realize that good things don’t come just because you want them to.

It prompts me to redouble my efforts and focus my time on achieving what I want to achieve.

I still have a long way to go, but I’ll remember Kobe for that the most.
