I think you can say this for nearly all teams. They have good years but only 1

ends the season with a win (of the teams that qualify and make the NCAA tournament). We have ups and downs as do all teams. There are those that hover near the top (Duke, NC - but not this year, KS, KY, and that's about it). All the rest are up and down for the most part.
