Life though. It can be pretty shocking to learn when someone purposefully takes their own life especially if they seemed to be doing well.

But there are certain lines of work where I guess i would expect more suicide or overdose because of culture. I’d be less surprised to hear about a football player because of traumatic brain injury or chronic pain etc. Rock stars living life in the fast lane etc.

For some reason basketball players seemed more invincible to me.
