The fact that we all enjoy watching 18-22 year old boys that we have little to
no affiliation with is weird. I don't know anyone on BYU's football or basketball team on a first name basis, yet when they lose it drives me crazy and when they win I feel as if I accomplished something. There is no reason for my strong emotional connection, yet it feels unavoidable.
