other sports have this too, but not to the same degree, in my opinion. It is a pretty tight playing area, with a lot of fast movement. Some contact is okay, but there is so much ambiguity involved that even on replays you often can't tell if it was a foul our not. And yes, it is mostly the block/charge call that is frustrating.

So I don't like that. On top of it, I feel the refs have more of an influence on the actual outcome of a game than in football/baseball/hockey. So they are often making bad calls that change the game.

I know there are great refs out there. It just seems like we are asking too much of them. At least I would be terrible at it.
