1917 sucked! The cinematography was fantastic only in the fact that it felt so continuous. I was mostly wondering they were able to go through all the mud and barbed wire without breaking a scene.

The story was ok, acting was terrible. The little things that happened along the way made my wife and I laugh about how bad it was.

It was the first R movie we had seen together in the theater and her first ever in the theater. She wondered why it was rated R as we have seen things on regular cable that was much worse. I am sure it was the F words and the dead bodies. Overall, it was pretty mild for the rating. Pretty bad movie though.
