We liked being able to do 2-3 nights each in Wailea, Hana, and Kanapalli. Not sure if I’d switch a large group around that much, but for two people and three suitcases in a Jeep it was great.

Staying overnight in Hana was even steeper as there’s not a lot of options there. But that really makes it nice and tranquilo when you get a few days there, as opposed to a drive by.
