No hard feelings at all. He took this program to some fun heights for a decade.
That being said, it was clear to see that the program couldn't get over the hump the past 3-4 seasons, especially when what had originally been conceived for the LP3 wasn't going to pan out as expected.

To his credit, IMO he only played the "I've earned this" card for a season or 2 before doing the right thing and letting some new blood take over. He could have played it out much longer if he had wanted to, and the administration wouldn't have said anything (although portions of the fanbase were clearly starting to murmur).

The coaching change has made a huge difference for the program with essentially the same players. Such a mature decision by Coach Rose, and a great decision for all involved, but most especially for the program. Will always respect Coach Rose's legacy — one of the great ones all-time.
