Yes, of course. I always found it funny that when I was at BYU, photos like this were occasionally posted at restaurants, etc. in the Provo area and everyone seemed to think they were BYU teams. We came along and TOTALLY appropriated their identity!
The 1895 Yale Bulldogs football team represented Yale University in the 1895 college football season. The team finished with a 13–0–2 record and was retroactively named as a co-national champion by one selector, Parke H. Davis.
