There would need to be so many other collapses around the nation for this
to happen.
BYU winning more games doesn’t move them up a seed. Not even close. There are still 300 teams playing out there and a lot of those teams impact tourney seeding.
BYU needs too many other teams to win/lose to get to a 5 let alone a 4. The time for winning is past. To get to 6 BYU needs 2-3 more quality wins. To get to 5 they needed to beat USF and SMC on the road. Probably even Boise.
Don’t get your hopes up too high.
