When you do it on purpose, it should be assault. Shouldn't matter if it's the
ribs or the head. Shouldn't matter if it breaks a bone or sends someone to the ER or just "hurts".
This isn't something that is a 'new' opinion of mine due to the Astros cheating either. I've believed this for awhile and have documented on CB at least as far back as a few years ago. There is just some really stupid stuff in sports that needs to change. This is one of them.
